Everyone expected Tha Carter V to release last week and it didn’t, disappointing deep and casual fans of the Young Money legend. Today, Tunechi returned to Twitter and when he stated that he had an announcement on the way we all heard the lighter flick. Tha Carter V will drop on September 27 at midnight.
At 5 pm, Weezy F dropped a link to his website that revealed the official album cover and a countdown for the album. The latest album from Lil Wayne will be dropping on the legend’s birthday but will also run against Kanye West’s new album, Yandhi, and Logic’s Young Sinatra IV.
There currently is no information regarding who will join Wayne on the project but if Nivea is to believed she is one of the features. She also stated, while onThe M+M+M Show, Drake will join her and the Young Money head honcho on the track.
We have to wait and see what is on the way, but we can officially say Weezy is coming.
