Those that like to travel know a thing or two about the pleasures of hitting the road on a luxury train car, and ASICSTIGER is capturing that essence for expedition with its new collab alongside Spanish sneaker hotspot 24 Kilates.
Giving the opulent makeover to the popular GEL-LYTE III, 24 Kilates and ASICTIGER came together to pay tribute to the legendary Eastern and Oriental Express that connects Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. The hunter green and brown color palette is a direct homage to the decked-out train cabins that patrons ride in, and the metallic Bangkok and Barcelona lace keepers are just an added bonus to show off the premium quality of the silhouette in general. Standout specs include the suede, leather and nubuck used on the upper, in addition to a co-branded gold embroidered badge on the tongue (seen above) that hints at the fictional “24 Kilates Express” that the collab is named after.
