Say what you want about Kanye West — trust, there’s a lot you can say about the controversial MC right now! — but the dude sure knows how to cook up a fresh set of kicks. Take his new adidas YEEZY Boost 700 colorway for example.

Although the official name for this release is labeled under “Mauve,” the colorway actually looks to have more grey tones than anything. However, that could be just due to the lighting in the lookbook seen here. The rest of the shoe is decked out primarily with a monochrome look, save for the black tongue, gum outsole and neon green circular detailing on the midsole. However, outside of the shoe’s previous popularity, we sure hope this release doesn’t suffer a lack of interest due to ‘Ye’s wild antics lately, which ranges from a now-pushed back attempt at jumping on Tha Carter V wave to even more ill-advised comments about slavery. Time will tell, but things aren’t personally looking too good for Yeezy at the moment.

Expect the adidas YEEZY Boost 700 “Mauve” to arrive on October 27, but you can cop them right now actually at Stadium Goods if you’re willing to drop the extra c-notes — $1,490 USD to be exact. More pics of the new colorway below:
