After the big reveal of Justin Timberlake’s capsule with Levi’s yesterday, it’s looking like we’ll be seeing a lot more star-supported style this season, the latest being a collaboration from G-Star RAW and the young icon himself, Jaden Smith.
After a previous teaser back in March with the video seen above, the upcoming “Forces of Nature” collection officially arrives on October 8, created with full input from Jaden as he used the forward-thinking brand’s sustainable materials and design methods to create a cool style story. The capsule breaks down into three themes — water, earth and eclipses — that each incorporate elements from the Sustainable Product initiative and push the notion for better care of the world we all live in. The blue portion seen here incorporates RAW For The Planet Indigo material, the ecru set is constructed from dye-free raw organic cotton and the black collection introduces a new material that absorbs less water, chemicals and energy in general than your usual run-of-the-mill black denim offerings. In short, the young multitalented star is creating a new lane of fashion that’s not only fresh AF, but preserving our environment as well. We’re down for the cause, champ!
