With Halloween just around the corner, Nike is getting in on everyone’s favorite costume celebration by decking out the new Vapormax 2019 silhouette in a very ‘marvel’ous colorway.
Now, we’re not sure if this is an official Iron Man colorway — perhaps a precursor to the release of Infinity War 2 next year? — but it sure is a pretty dead-on copy of Tony Stark’s classic armored suit. This variation combines a gold and red combo over the silhouette’s translucent TPE upper, complete with taped seams and black accents on the loop lacing system. Driving even more clues to this being inspired by a certain cocky superhero with a billionaire budget for the latest tech gear, the Swoosh comes in a silver color that looks very much like the suit’s glowing eyes. We’ll go out on a limb and say this is just a very close coincidence, but we can still hope to be wrong and pray that this drops right in time for the upcoming film, right? Honestly, we need this to be what we think it is after that heart-wrenching ending to Part I!
