Gunna is ready to end the year off with a bang.

The College Park artist continues his 2018 hot streak. Between him and Lil Baby, the frequent collaborators are two of this year’s breakout artists. The 25 year-old rapper took to Twitter to announce the upcoming sequel to his 2017 release, Drip Or Drown.

“OH yea I forgot To Tell my fans Drip Or Drown II Is Dropping this Year !” he tweeted. The sequel will be executive produced by both Wheezy and Turbo. Turbo was instrumental in constructing Gunna and Lil Baby’s Drip Harder, including the Billboard Hot 100 smash, “Drip Too Hard.” The song has since peaked at number 4 on the chart.

The “Drip” movement has gain a massive following and popularity in 2018 and Gunna is one of its biggest contributors. There has been controversy about the creators and originators of the word “drip.” Gunna could care less about its creator. He has been a huge influencers on the movement and took the Twitter to let his feelings be known.

“Ima say this one time only !” he writes. “I Don’t Give a Flying F*** about The Word DRIP ! Or Who ever say Dey created it ! BuT I make HITS and i really put dat S**t On.”
