Former First Lady Michelle Obama has been everywhere promoting her new book and her work is already paying off. Her new memoir has already been moving plenty of units and it hasn’t been out a full week. Becoming reportedly has sold more than 725,000 copies on its first day making it one of the most successful book releases of the year so far.

The memoir also gave Random House, Crown’s parent company, its largest debut sales numbers of 2018. The company released a statement to the public that says, “Based on extraordinary account demand across all channels, from mass merchandisers to independent bookstores, the publisher has already gone back to press for an additional 800,000 hardcover copies, which will bring the total number of copies in print in the U.S. and Canada to 2.6 million. “
