Singer Jason Derulo will be making his acting debut in the screen adaptation of Andrew Llyod Webber’s musical Cats.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tom Hooper is directing the production which also includes Jennifer Hudson, Idris Elba, James Corden, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift and Rebel Wilson as cast members.

Derulo will play a cat named Rum Tum Tugger who is rebellious and never satisfied.
Derulo took to Instagram to announce his joy about Cats.
