After getting a preview last month at the Paul George x Nike PG 2.5 “Sony PlayStation Grey” colorway dropping next month, we now have an even closer look at the shoe in addition to a bumped up release date.
Designed in tribute to the OKC Thunder star player’s love for video gaming, this collab pretty much proves that Sony is really the GOAT out here; no other gaming company could bring this dream collab to fruition quite like they did — Team XBOX, we still love you though! The PS1-themed “Wolf Grey” looks even better in these updated set of images, decked out in other design specs synonymous with the gaming console, like the sacred symbols etched into the upper and classic colorways like red, yellow, blue and green dispersed throughout in the form of various accents. On-court appeal is present as well, including the strap in place for stability and assured lock-in while hitting the paint hard and a rigid sole that incorporates grooves for premium traction. In short, no games were played in the design of this pair of kicks.
Expect Paul George’s Sony PlayStation x PG 2.5 to arrive next Saturday (December 1) on Nike SNKRS and at select NSW retailers.
