Speaking with Hot 97’s Nessa, she said the “Drip Too Hard” pair gives her “Outkast vibes.” She compared their individuality and chemistry to Big Boi’s and Andre 3000’s during their prime. “That’s a great title,” Baby responded. “I never heard of that though. I can see where that would come from.”
The Atlanta rapper discussed everything from his forthcoming mixtape Street Gossip and collaborating with Tekashi 6ix9ine.
He said that he “heard of his” Tic Tic collaboration with the Brooklyn rapper, but didn’t listen to it in full after it was leaked. Lil Baby also revealed that they were cool with each other for a minute, so the link up came naturally.
“We’ve kinda been cool for a minute,” he told Nessa. “When I first started rapping, he was already poppin’ but he was on my music.”
