Trey Songz celebrated his 34th Birthday by dropping two mixtapes entitled 11 and 28 for fans. Although they came out of nowhere to the surprise of many. On a recent interview with Big Boy in the Neighborhood he explained that he came from an era where they were selling cds out of cars. So he appreciates being able to put out the music when he felt like it. The 11 and 28 mixtapes sound like a Trey album as there is only one song that has features with Ty Dolla Sign and Tory Lanez on Shooting Shots. 1128 gives us that mixtape Trey that jacking everybody beat. He also has a movie In theaters called Blood Brothers. Make sure you all check that out.

On another note, Meek Mill had his album release party last night in NYC. The North Philly Mc is getting love from fans and peers alike as he drops his highly anticipated album; Championship. The album has dope production and a lot of great samples like Jay’s Dead Presidents on Respect The Game and a smash with Ella Mai called 24/7 with a sample from Beyonce’s Me Myself & I. One track that got everyone talking is What’s Free, featuring a show stealing verse from Jay Z and his MMG family Rick Ross. The track samples the classic Biggie joint What’s Beef. This shows Meek’s artistic growth, as he maintains positive intents with his street theme. Meek Mill seems more focused than ever.
