They say the Lord works in mysterious ways. That may be the case for Michele Williams her engagement with clergymen Chad Williams was called off.
In a stunning turn of events, the 38-year-old Destiny’s Child singer made the surprise announcement in a since-deleted Instagram Story post on Friday morning. In some better news for Williams, she announced the breakup on the same day she dropped her latest single, “Fearless.”
On the post, Williams said, “I still remain fearless. I guess I still remain single! Things didn’t work out. The healing that needs to take place is a must! I don’t wanna destroy another relationship. Blessings to him, his family and ministry.”
The couple has their own show on Oprah’s OWN network chronicling their engagement and impending wedding. The couple broke up with episodes of their show still left in the queue. But the cracks in their relationship were seen immediately. Their differences drew some attention when Wilson asked Williams if she took her meds when she suggested there were some things that he could never understand because he’s white. It seems like things have spiraled from there.
