From reuniting with Grant Hill to linking up on a collab with Fendi, FILA has been having a pretty amazing year as a company. Now, the brand is closing out the year by getting back to its Italian-bred roots with a special release of the V94M silhouette.

The shoe comes in two vibrant colorways for the appropriately-titled “Italy” Pack, including a beige-based “Mandarin” colorway and ocean-inspired “Vista Blue” hue. The name of the sneaker derives from the FILA Venom that debuted back in 1994, with this iteration adding a few updated specs on the upper with a mesh/nubuck construction. Other noticeable reworks include the premium leather seen on the heel counter that extends onto the side panel. As the retro runner craze was a big hit in 2018, FILA is definitely on the money with this release. We’re sure 2019 will welcome the trend with open arms, so definitely don’t sleep on either one of these.
