We’ve seen some super fresh watches recently from the likes of G-SHOCK, BAPE and even Big Draco himself — Soulja Boy tell ’em! — and now it looks like Chanel has a timepiece of its own that’s dripping in luxe appeal.

The new Monsieur de CHANEL watch is seen here in a signature Édition Noire hue, which we’re guessing is the Parisian fashion house’s fancy way of saying all-black. Specs include a 42mm matte black ceramic case with an equally tonal grained dial. What interrupts this otherwise monotone colorway are the raised and silvered markings on the dial. The standout feature is not immediately visible to the eye; the sapphire window on the case back reveals the hand-wound Caliber 1 moving chambers, featuring twin barrels and a 72-hour power reserve. If quality is what you look for in an accessory like this one, Chanel is surely the route to go if you’re one that likes the lavish things in life.

The Monsieur de CHANEL Édition Noire watch will arrive this September as a limited edition release, with only 55 units being made in total. Take a closer look below:
