The Lunar New Year is still being celebrated across the globe, which will be amped up even further when the highly-anticipated Lantern Festival goes down next week. As an exclusive gift to Japan residents, atmos is getting vibrant for the occasion with a “Tokyo Neon” capsule collection in collaboration with Nike.
The set includes three classic sportswear essentials — a hoodie, windbreaker and T-shirt are all included — in addition to two footwear options that all follow a black base with neon accents to signify the Tokyo skyline. The sneakers featured here include the Swoosh’s fan-favorite Air Max 98 and Air Max 90, both blending a neon-based combination of green, orange, yellow and pink on various parts of each model, from the heel tab all the way to the midsole. As the Spring Lantern Festival is sure to brighten up the streets in many parts of Asia, we’re sure our Japanese fam will shed a different type of light on the city pavements by grabbing up this fire set of streetwear.
The atmos x Nike “Tokyo Neon” capsule collection will arrive as an exclusive Japan release at select atmos Tokyo retailers this Saturday (February 16), but both sneakers are rumored to hit retailers here in the States soon after.
