Remember when Stacy Abrams gave her Democratic response speech, she encouraged us to call out racism in any form when we see it? Well, Nick Cannon definitely is doing his part by calling out white people who dress in Blackface because yes, that is racist.

Over the weekend the comedian shared an Instagram video calling out both Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon for wearing blackface for laughs and giggles. He starts his caption with a question, “Are these your Kings of Late Night?” He then both tagged both hosts and continued, “you know I’m always on the side of the comedian and never pander to the sensitive, but I feel there needs to be some truth and reconciliation discussions and teachable moments amongst our communities. I’m ready and willing for the discourse, so who wants to step up to the table first? In the meantime, I’ll just leave this right here. Tell the Jimmy’s to holler at me.”

In both video clips, they also made cruel jokes about stereotypes placed on Black people. This isn’t the first time Cannon called a comedian out via Instagram about wearing Blackface. He also called Sarah Silverman out for doing the same thing. In the picture he shared on Instagram he refers to Black History Month as Blackface month and with all the white people who have been exposed, just this month alone, the name seems on brand.

At this point, everyone knows Blackface is racist. Rather they accept that or not, it is racist! What type of punishment do you think the Jimmy’s should receive? Also, would you want an apology from them?
