Tory Lanez has made headlines in recent months. His rap battles with both Joyner Lucas and Don Q have been friendly matches of the competition, with Lanez coming out as the victor both times. He also scored an international tour with fellow Canadian, Drake, that begins in Machester in March. Now he is taking a stand to support 21 Savage.

Many were shocked to learn that 21 Savage was arrested by ICE. A number of figures in Hip-Hop voiced their opinion and stood united to support the Atlanta rapper. In support of 21, Tory Lanez released a “Free 21 Freestyle” over the J.Cole assisted “a lot.” One fan was not receptive to Lanez’s freestyle and accused him of trying to gain clout from 21 Savage situation. Of course Tory quickly responded.

“Don’t do that…. leave all the bullshit out of this,” said the “Talk To Me” artist. “I’m from Canada and have first hand dealt with them border problems… and no one else seemed like they would step up and say something on a record about this.”
