The Philly emcee conducted an #AskMeek Q&A on Twitter on Friday, February 15th and a fan asked if his record with J. Cole will finally see the light of day. Meek’s response was very promising. “Very soon I can’t wait to go bar for bar wit cole he be on some shit!,” he said.

Back in October the CHAMPIONSHIPS rapper was photographed in the studio with Cole, leading fans to believe that the song would appear on his then-upcoming project. But apparently that wasn’t the case and the Chasers are wondering what’s the hold-up.

A week after CHAMPIONSHIPS was released, Meek Mill explained that the Fayetteville emcee was busy working on his six studio album. He said the reason for the hold up was because he is “waiting for cole.”

J. Cole and Meek are set to share a stage during All-Star Weekend in Charlotte, NC, so hopefully, they can set some time aside to lay down a track or two.
