The collab comes in the form of a special iteration of the G-STEEL watch, decked out with an all-black base and fitting blue accents on the dial, buckle, IP case back, button and band keeper. All the classic specs are included as well, including 200M water resistance, solar-powered charging, countdown timer and shock resistance amongst other features. For the tech-savvy players out there, the timepiece also comes equipped with Bluetooth low energy technology that syncs up with your G-SHOCK Connected App for even greater stats and performance data. To make the moment extra jazzy, a Daddy Kev’s Blue Note X G-SHOCK Mix playlist was created for watch aficionados to get a taste of just why a collab like this is music to the ears of many.

Expect the limited-edition G-SHOCK x Blue Note Records G-STEEL watch to drop this coming March for a retail price of $420 USD at select jewelers, Casio retailers, the G-SHOCK Soho Store and online. Check out Blue Note artists Charles Lloyd, Kendrick Scott, and lophiile in the promo video above flexing both the watch and their musical talents.
