A longtime associate of slain rapper XXXTentacion has filed a lawsuit against the late rapper’s estte, claiming that he is owed unpaid royalties, specifically for one of the Florida emcee’s biggest hits “Look At Me”.
The song got XXX his deal with Empire Records, which Jimmy Duval believes was largely attributed to his production. Duval has worked on numerous songs with XXXTentacion, which makes the Florida-based producer believe that he is still owed some royalties in relation to the fallen rapper.
Cleopatra Bernard, mother of XXXTentacion, manages and presides over XXX’s estate and has yet tot respond to Duval’s claim.
