After two months of giving birth to her miracle baby girl with husband Papoose, Remy Ma has finally revealed “The Golden Child” to the world. The Black Love couple’s precious bundle of joy made her public debut on hit daytime talk show The Real on Thursday morning.
Fitted in a matching flowering outfit with her rap star mommy, “The Golden Child” had the crowd in awe as she took the stage with her parents. The baby wore a cute little purple headband, with a pair of gold shoes and a tiny purse to match her tiny flowered designed outfit. Her father, Papoose was in pure awe of his newborn daughter, showcasing ultimate father and daughter love.
The “All The Way Up” rapper told the hosts of The Real that the birth of her baby girl has made her life complete. “She makes everything so peaceful. We don’t wanna disagree on anything,” she said. “Everything is just so calm. She really completed the whole circle.” She went on to the reveal that after she gave birth, her blood pressure was on a high note and her return to the hospital was due to still being dilated to which she had a blood transfusion. “I was scared because I was worried about her, but she was fine. It took me a little bit of extra days to get back together but I’m good now.”
Many are aware of the reason behind the baby’s nickname, “The Golden Child” which is due to the couple’s difficult journey of getting pregnant. The Black Love forerunners finally revealed the birth name of their miracle baby girl, who is named after her mother, Reminisce MacKenzie Mackie. “Her real name is Reminisce MacKenzie and Mackie like our last name,” said Remy. “Everybody always names their sons after their dads, I just felt like ‘hum, we need another Remy in the world!’”
Soon after the reveal, Remy Ma took to Instagram to share the moment on social media mentioning how the time zone difference caused her to miss the airing of the episode. She went on to dive in a heartfelt spiel about her love for her baby girl and husband, and thanked The Real for the opportunity to share her with the world. “Reminisce MacKenzie “The Golden Child” Born December 14th. 7pounds and 2 ounces,” the post starts off.
“We’re still on the west coast so I missed my baby tv debut (tune in to watch The Real on Fox network today) but waking up to her on my timeline put the biggest smile on my face; it’s so weird seeing her on social media. This baby is EVERYTHING me & her father, my husband @papoosepapoose prayed she would be and EVEN MORE! Thank you to all the pages that are being respectful of our family and an even bigger thank you to my @therealdaytime family…I love & appreciate you all so much; so glad she got to meet all her aunties & uncles? ”
Uncle Fat Joe also shared one of the first photos to surface of The Golden Child and expressed his love for his sister in rap’s newborn blessing. “I couldn’t wait she’s sooooooo beautiful reminisce mackie @papoosepapoose @remyma God is Great and i got her for life.”
