Juelz Santana, whose real name is LaRon James, turned himself in at Petersen Medium Federal Correctional Facility in Hopewell, Virginia yesterday. This is where Santana will begin to serve his two years and three-month sentence for attempting to board an airplane with a loaded gun.

James was set to begin his sentence on January 30, but the judge granted him a brief leave until the last day of February. He was sentenced in December of 2018 after TSA officials found a loaded .25 semi-automatic pistol and several unprescribed Oxycontin pills in his carry-on luggage at Newark International Airport. Santana fled from the airport in a taxi but turned himself in several days later.
