“We’re definitely about to do a T-Wayne 2, no question,” Pain said around the 8:10 mark. “I got a ton of hooks lined up already that I’m about to send Wayne, and that’s just how we do it.”

T-Wayne was released in the midst of Tunechi’s legal battle with Cash Money over the release of Tha Carter V which was finally released last year. Although the highly-anticipated project finally saw the light of day, T-Pain was willing to put on his legal boxing gloves to ensure that Wayne was still connecting with his fans.

“Part of that is why I released the T-Wayne project,” Pain said. “Because he was going through so much, and he wasn’t able to put out music, I’m like, ‘Bro, I’ll take it. Tell them to sue me!”

“But that whole thing he was going through with the Carter V and all the Cash Money, I was just like, man, this man doesn’t deserve that,” he continued. “I was willing to take whatever I was gonna get for that. That was my contribution to the music industry.”

The Tallahassee crooner released his first studio album for the first time in two years, 1UP. The release came right after he appeared as the winner on the series, The Masked Singer.
