Alex Rodriguez proposed to Jennifer Lopez over the weekend as the two vacationed in the Florida Keys. Nearly everyone was happy for the couple but clearly not Jose Canseco, who took to Twitter on Sunday night accusing A-Rod of cheating on J.Lo with his ex-wife Jessica Canseco.

Jose and Jessica married in 1996 and divorced in 1999. Following his initial tweet alleging Rodriguez of cheating on Lopez, the six-time All-Star also issued a challenge to A-Rod.

Canseco admitted to using steroids throughout his 17-year career and exposed them as a plaguing the sport in his 2005 book, “ Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big.”

Rodriguez twice admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs and was suspended all of the 2014 seasons for violating the league’s drug policy.

Rodriguez underwent a remarkable image overhaul since retiring in 2016, landing high-profile TV gigs such as a baseball analyst for ESPN and Fox. He’s been dating J.Lo for about two years.

A-Rod cheated on his ex-wife Cynthia, which was a factor in their divorce. He and his ex-girlfriend Torrie Wilson split over similar chatter.

It’s too early to tell if Jose is telling the truth, but the timing seems to be so convenient.
