Fox’s musical drama STAR makes its mid-season return on Wednesday, March 13. The popular show, created by Lee Daniels and Tom Donaghy (The duo also are the brains behind Empire, FOX’s highest-rated drama), made its debut on December 14, 2016. The show is centered on a trio of talented young singers who are navigating the highs and lows, and the ups and downs of the music business as they attempt to make a name for themselves. The drama stars Jude Demorest, Brittany O’Grady, Ryan Destiny, Brandy Norwood, and Queen Latifah. Star has also featured some notable guest stars including Lenny Kravitz, Tyrese Gibson, Missy Elliot, Big Boi, Naomi Campbell, and many others.
When two successful seasons in the can, STAR keep up its reputation as a fan favorite and has continued to have strong ratings.
