Flatiron Books announced Wednesday that the singer’s More Myself will be released on November 5th through Oprah Winfrey’s “An Oprah Book” imprint. The book is reportedly a “360-degree” perspective into Alicia Keys’ life from her childhood to her rise to fame.

Keys said in a statement that she was “ecstatic” to share her life story, alongside her “sister, mentor and friend Oprah.”

“I didn’t tell anybody that I was writing this book,” Keys says in the video. “It’s been an amazing process.” She adds, “I wanted to call it a journey because I do not want it to be called a memoir.”

“@aliciakeys has navigated the spotlight and pressures of fame while retaining a humble and beautiful spirit,” the media mogul wrote. “I am honored she chose to share her personal story #MoreMyself through my imprint.”

The 15-time Grammy winner hosted the Grammys this year and memorably played two pianos at the same damn time. We can’t wait to read her story.
