Cardi B is returning to the pole but this time on the big screen.
The Invasion of Privacy rapper is set to star in her first feature film, Hustlers, which is inspired by a New York Magazine article about a crew of ruthless strippers who finessed the bag out of some Wall Street clients.
The Bronx rapper is open about her past life at the strip club, and she is certainly a certified hustler, so this should be a breeze for her.
Cardi B joins the cast alongside Jennifer Lopez, KeKe Palmer, Constance Wu, Lili Reinhart, Julia Stiles, and Oscar-winner Mercedes Ruehl. Trace Lysette and Mette Towley are in negotiations to join.
Shooting will begin on March 22, 2019, in NYC. STXfilms is producing alongside Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina, as well as Adam McKay, Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum for Gloria Sanchez Productions.
