T-Pain made some interesting revelations at the Genius Level conversation with Rob Markman last night in Brooklyn.

The most notable one is that he has a collaboration with Michael Jackson and Usher that will never see the light of day. “That would’ve been the biggest record of my f*****g life and it never came out because the dude I had doing the reference, he leaked the record and Michael Jackson didn’t want to do it anymore,” T-Pain said during his Genius Level interview.

The song was called “Stop Play” and can be heard above.

He also revealed that he signed on to Konvict Muzik originally as a writer instead of an artist. When he wrote his breakthrough single, “I’m Sprung,” it was originally intended for Akon but he just dropped “Soul Survivor” and wanted to continue his gangsta streak.

Elsewhere in the conversation, the crooner admitted that he did all of his early features free of cost and the favor wasn’t returned to him. He discussed his recent album, 1 Up, his impact on pop culture, and his second chance in the game.
