OWN Network’s Family or Fiancé is a new reality show that chronicles the ups and downs of eight engaged couples who bring their disagreeing families together to spend three days under one roof for some intense interactions. Interestingly, some families are meeting the potential spouses of their children for the first time. Up against a limited amount of time, the couples must decide if they’re going to tie the knot or if they’ll be forced to dissolve their relationships. The show takes an in-depth look at the hardcore truths that exist when the people closest to you have major disagreements with the one you love and hope to marry.

According to OWN’s description, “At the heart of the series is relationship expert Tracy McMillan, who serves as the voice of reason as the couples confront their family’s concerns. She works with the newlyweds-to-be on ways to strengthen their bond, unpack their differences and reveal their true selves to their families–for better or worse. At the end of the final day, families are given the chance to speak now or forever hold their peace leaving each couple to decide once and for all if they’re truly ready to say, I do.”

Family or Fiancé is executive produced by Jonathan Murray, Julie Pizzi, Gil Goldschein, Jonathan Singer, Erica Ross and co-executive produced by Eryka Bryant of Bunim/Murray Productions in partnership with OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
