A second student who survived the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida has committed suicide just days after the first student, Sydney Aiello, took her own life.
a 17-year old male sophomore student was found dead by Coral Springs Police Department near a neighboring home. His identity is being kept anonymous, according to TMZ.
The male student was enrolled in MSDHS when the Parkland shooting occurred last year, killing 17 people, including students and faculty.
This comes just days after 19-year-old Sydney Aiello, who was also a student at Parkland, took her own life last week. Her mother said that her daughter had been dealing with survivor’s guilt ever since the shooting and was recently diagnosed with PTSD.
How many more kids have to be taken from us as a result of suicide for the government / school district to do anything?
Rip 17+2 🧡😭
