The iconic work of Andy Warhol is a constant source of inspiration within the fashion community, and leading bag manufacturer Eastpak is continuing the trend by using one of his most well-known art pieces as the centerpiece for the brand’s latest collection of carryalls.
Taking on the “Colored Campbell’s Soup Cans” art piece from 1965, the set includes a backpack, duffle bag, waist bag and wheeled luggage that each utilize the vibrant hues of orange, purple green and tan amongst others that Warhol used for the original painting. The collection comes full circle in fact, as Warhol himself carried around a signature Eastpak Padded Pak’r bag during his lifetime. The options of “Carrot,” “Mint” and of course “Tomato” are included as standouts, and with features that include a padded laptop sleeve and special water-repellent fabric, this is both a cool collectors item for the art fiends of the world in addition to an overall well-constructed range of luggage to boot.
