The 2019 Met Gala festivities may be over, but the camp swag continues thanks to a new capsule of official collectible merch by way of The Met Store.
The limited edition “Camp Collection” illustrates some of the biggest figures of the night onto a range of T-shirts, tote bags, patches, zip pouches and enamel pins. The designs feature the likeness of Dapper Dan, who had a breakout night when his designs were seen all over the pink carpet, Alessandro Michele, Jean Paul Gaultier, queen of the night Anna Wintour and proper tributes to Karl Lagerfeld and the original source of “camp” herself Susan Sontag. Each was designed by illustrator Angela Hicks, and depending on how you rock it will give you just the right amount of kitschiness to create you own campy look.
