We’re sure many Netflix subscribers are still trying to find the perfect outcome to Bandersnatch, but those who’ve had their fair share of ruining Stefan Butler’s life can officially move on to the next Black Mirror chapter now that Season 5 is set to premiere in just a matter of weeks.
The trailer for Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones’ hit anthology series takes us into three new stories, each centered around the destructive consequences that can result from all those technological advances we champion in our everyday lives. Topics that will be explored in Season 5 based off the nearly two-minute trailer include a lethal Mortal Kombat-inspired VR/AR
gaming experience, a virtual companion doll that may prove to be “poison,” a futuristic pop star story that seems to be more sinister than the stage presents it to be and a dating app-inspired story that may go from infidelity to deadly.
Stars include pop sensation Miley Cyrus, Avengers: Endgame actor Anthony Mackie, The Get Down‘s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, That ’70s Show fan-favorite Topher Grace, Snowfall star Damson Idris and 42 actress Nicole Beharie amongst others.
