The trial for Nipsey Hussle’s murder started and things are heating up.
Billboard reports that the Los Angeles Police Department opened an internal affairs investigation in regards to the actions of the LAPD immediately following the rapper’s assassination. LAPD’s Office of the Inspector General is looking into a front desk officer’s response in the aftermath. The female getaway driver, rumored to be the shooter Eric Holder’s girlfriend, says she visited the 77th Street police station to ask about it, but a front desk clerk allegedly turned her away and “told her not to worry about it.”
The driver, identified as Witness 1, recently spoke to detectives and was offered protection in exchange for her testimony.
The witness alleged that she was excited to meet Nipsey Hussle when she drove Holder to The Marathon store and things went left when Hussle accused him of being a rat.
