While serving soft and emotional neo-soul vibes, 23-year old self-taught musician Ambré shares her new single “fubu” released today. The song finds Ambré urging the object of her affection to step away from their obligations in hopes of spending more time with her. The gentle-toned singer who previously performed under the name Ambré Perkins, shows off her New Orleans-native swagger combined with multi-layered vocals. “fubu” is the first single from Ambré’s upcoming debut EP Pulp.
Having the opportunity to tour with Kehlani, Ambré received her first Grammy in 2019 for her songwriting work on RCA Records recording artist H.E.R.’s self-titled album. Keep an eye out for more music and videos from Ambré.
