This past Tuesday (Dec 3), the Indianapolis Colts, including 11 players like quarterback Jacoby Brissett, joined volunteers from the locally-based LIDS Sports Group to provide over 250 children with new winter coats and accessories. The effort was a part of the 14th annual “Lids for Kids” event.

The event was a “Colts Community Tuesday” event, which brought a mock store to Ralph Waldo Emerson School #58 where students were able to pick new gear donated by LIDS. Volunteers made sure the items fit properly and to give the same service, which is available at any of the 1200+ LIDS locations.

Colts players, cheerleaders and the team mascot were available to help distribute the new threads.
