As tempers and emotions continue to explode across the country over the police-related death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, video footage has surfaced of hundreds of police officers standing on guard outside of the home of Derek Chauvin.
In shocking video footage recorded by local citizens, hundreds of National Guard soldiers can be seen lining up in front of Chauvin’s home in Oakdale, Minnesota. The 44-year-old, 19 year veteran of the force who pinned the 46-year-old Floyd to the ground with his knee on May 25, has been previously involved in two police-related shootings. One which was fatal.
All four officers present have been fired, however, protestors, politicians, and concerned citizens are seeking arrests and having the officers charged.
