When in Dubai, well, have a good time!
That’s just what went down for Sole DXB 2018, the three-day event that had some of our favorites in Hip-Hop, food, sports and especially on the fashion side united on one festival ground. From Mos Def coming out of hibernation to rock the stage effortlessly like he did in his Black on Both Sides days, to Nas and Roxanne Shanté showing that a love for ’90s Hip-Hop extends way beyond their shared Queens, New York origins, the show definitely proved to be one for the books.
Check out the whirlwind week of events that went down from Dec 6 to Dec 8 below, including a Reebok panel for Pyer Moss, a Stadium Goods pop-up with Farfetch that even had Joey Bada$$ on his Fly Emirates steez, sneaker guru Bobbito Garcia being a boss as usual, good eats by way of Sweet Chick, visually-astounding activations from the likes of PUMA and Dior, a basketball tourney sponspored by the thirst-quenching minds over at Sprite, and way more on the lineup than we can even mention in one breath.
