Before the year comes to an end, Kodak Black continues to rake in more W’s.
His highly-anticipated sophomore album, Dying To Live, debuted at the top spot on the Billboard 200 charts. This marks the Florida rapper’s first number one album.
The collection moved 89,000 equivalent album units, reports Nielsen Music. That total included 5,000 in traditional album sales. But of course, a significant amount of the album’s sales were generated through streams.
The album was streamed over 100 million times, making it the most streamed album of that week.
He has had other projects appear in the top 10 such as Project Baby 2, No. 2 and Painting Pictures, No. 3, but this is his first time reaching the peak.
Dying To Live was led by the Offset, Travis Scott-assisted single, “ZEZE.” It also had features by Juice WRLD and Lil Pump.
