Marvel Cinematic Universe fans and comic book heads are excited about all the films that are projected to drop this year. Fans are looking forward to the conclusion of the Avengers saga after the world-altering onslaught of Thanos. The anticipation is at an all-time high as lovers of the Marvel franchise wait to find out how the films will tie up all the loose ends.
Continuing their dominance in the film industry, Captain Marvel will hit theaters on March 8th, 2019. It’s now being confirmed that Jude Law will co-star alongside Brie Larson in a crucial role that just might give insight to Captain Marvel’s task in helping to defeat the almighty Thanos.
In a leak by Disney, Law will play Mar-Vell, the leader of Starforce. According to Marvel mythology, “Captain Mar-Vell was a member of the Kree, the alien humanoid warrior race which has forged an empire throughout the galaxy known as the Large Magellanic Cloud.”
Fans are speculating that Law’s role as Mar-Vell might be the key to understating the origin story of Captain Marvel.
