Marsai Martin is making big moves not only on the small screen but now on the big screen. The 14-year old Black-ish actress is making history by becoming the youngest person to ever executive produce a film. Martin is set to star in and is one of the producers of Little, a remake of the Tom Hanks film Big.

In Little, Jordan Sanders (played by Regina Hall) is transformed by a curse back into her 13-year-old self (Martin), having to relive her younger years. Issa Rae also stars in the film.

“It was one of my most favorite films growing up,” Martin told The Root. “After the Season 1 finale of Black-ish, we told Kenya Barris about it, and he called Will [Packer] and said: ‘Yo, you know the girl who plays Diane on Black-ish? She has this dope idea!’”

The project is set up with “Girls Trip” producers Will Packer and James Lopez along with “Black-ish” creator Kenya Barris. “Support The Girls “star Regina Hall and Josh Martin will executive produce along with Marsai Martin.

The trailer for the comedy was released yesterday (Jan. 9), to rave reviews adding to the excitement and the anticipation of the film’s official release.

The film is set to be released on April 12th.
