Senator Cory Booker opened Black History Month by announcing his candidacy for the President of the United States in 2020. With his campaign now underway, Sen. Booker took a trip to Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee, DJ Envy was away, for his very first Breakfast Club interview.
While he sat The SOURCE’s POWER30 top radio show, Booker discussed his beginnings, what he plans to do for African-Americans and U.S. citizens as a whole, President Donald Trump and more. One topic that has become a hot topic when speaking on the Senator is him not being married already, because for some reason America has an infatuation with his relationship status.
When the tag team of Charla and Yee poked at Booker’s relationship status he was sure to detail “I got a boo.” Yee would detail that she knows his boo, and if anyone was curious about who it could be, her name is floating across the blogs. Bookers bae is rumored to be actress Rosario Dawson.
“First of all, there’s two more years until I might fulfill this duty, so give me some time,” Booker said. “My girlfriend might listen to this […] I’m dating somebody that’s really special.”
However, Booker isn’t hung up on having a wife to get into the White House. He stated, “I think if Donald Trump is elected president, at this point with the personal life he has, then anybody can.”
