Fighting a deportation case just got a little harder for ATL-based slang spitter 21 Savage.
Savage, whose real name is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, has been charged in Liberty County, Georgia with theft by deception after he was accused of beating a promoter out of $17K, claiming that 21 kept the $9,500 deposit as well as the $7,500 payment made to him for a show he canceled in 2016.
A warrant was issued for Savage back in 2016, but the authorities never followed through with the apprehension.
Savage was released and is working directly with the promoter to resolve the issue.
On Super Bowl Sunday, Abraham-Joseph was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents after being charged with being a British national and living in the country illegally after his Visa ran out in 2005.
