The Grammy Award-winning rapper formerly known as the “regular degular schmegular” girl from the Bronx,  will most likely add to her trophy case. She is up for 7 BET Awards this year. Last year she took home 2 awards for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and the Viewers Choice Award.

Bardi has come a long way since Bodak topped the Hot 100. Her 7 nominations from this year’s show include, two nods for Video of the Year (“Money” and “Please Me”), Album of the Year, Viewers Choice award and more. It goes without saying that she will repeat as the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist.

Coming right behind Cardi is the 6 God himself.   Fresh off an international tour, Drake comes in with 5 nods. Although he may not be there to accept any of them, he is up for Video of the Year, Viewers Choice twice (“In My Feelings” and “Sicko Mode”) and more. Last month Drake became Billboard’s most awarded artist of all-time with 27 awards in total. In addition, he took home his fourth Grammy Award back in February.

Next in the nods are Beyoncé, Travis Scott and J. Cole with a three-way tie of 3 nominations. Auntie Yoncé released her Homecoming documentary via Netflix last month. The film follows the superstar as she prepared for her epic performance at Coachella 2018. Travis Scott has an incredible 2018 after the release of his double platinum-certified, Astroworld.  Cole has promised us to collab with more of his peers and is off to a great start to the year with the Hot 100 hit, “Middle Child.”

He is allegedly featured on Ty Dolla Sign’s next single, “Purple Emoji.” Dolla Sign previewed the song earlier this week.
