New Balance and J. Crew are no strangers to whipping up a cool collaboration, as we saw this past summer with the BBQ-inspired 998 collection. The latest borrows cues from the art-centered Canyon Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and it’s definitely got us wanting to take a company trip to the American southwest.

The aptly-titled “Canyon Road” pack features aztec-inspired iterations of the 999 and the 999r NB silhouettes. The former colorway is the standout of the two, which features added hints of blue on the heel and tongue that compliment the brown, orange and yellow-gold hues that both models display. For $10 more, the 999r adds a little more to the offering, built with a bootie-style insole and perforated toe box for a more lightweight construction in comparison to its predecessor. Both are dope either way, so you can’t go wrong choosing between the two. Then again, just get both!

You can cop the J.Crew x New Balance “Canyon Road” Pack right now, with the 999 running you $180 USD and the 999r priced at $190 USD. Get either option over in the J. Crew online store.

The footwear community geared specifically towards runners was treated to a real game-changer back in 2015 when the adidas Ultra Boost first dropped. Now, fans of the silhouette and its original colorway will get to revel in that glory once again when the shoe makes a grand return to shelves next month.

Bringing back the dark purple heel cage that gives a slight switch-up from the all-black hue on the Primeknit upper, this release is definitely considered a classic. Even in its three-year-old infancy, the design embodies a cleanliness that makes it look good with anything in your closet, whether that’s athletic apparel for the Sunday run or a more casual ‘fit for a comfortable night out running from bar to bar. The crisp white sole is where the technology comes full circle, making this one silhouette that the Three Stripes can bet on for years to come. Even better, more colorways will be dropping soon as well, as you can see from the vibrant display above.

The OG adidas Ultra Boost returns starting December 1, available for $180 USD in the brand’s online store. See more pics of the shoe below:

Paying attention to your sneaker apps for exclusive online drops can really benefit your shoe obsession — just ask the lucky sneakerheads that got their hands on the coveted Air Jordan 11 “Concord” that Jordan Brand surprisingly dropped on Nike SNKRS today.

The highly-anticipated colorway, which was originally scheduled to be JB’s yearly Air Jordan drop for the holidays, popped up on the app and instantly sold out. This iteration of the fan-favorite release keeps everything in place, sans for the “45” on the heel in replace of the “23” you usually find on these. The colorway, which debuted when Michael Jordan returned from retirement in 1995 rocking a #45 jersey while his legendary #23 jersey hung in the rafters, is truly a classic for all the right reasons. Even though many of us might’ve missed out today, thankfully we’ll have another shot at picking these bad boys up in a few weeks.

Expect the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” to drop officially, in sizes for the entire family, starting December 8 at select Jordan Brand retailers and through Nike SNKRS again. Don’t sleep!

One of the greatest sneaker colorways of all time is without a doubt the “Grape” Air Jordan 5, and Nike decided to recreate the magic for a sneaker silhouette that’s equally as iconic: the coveted Air Max 90.

All the essential colorways are in place in this special iteration, from the white mesh/leather base and black sole to the jade accents on the heel and headlining purple on the leather mudguard, tongue patch and upper eyelets. Finished off with crisp white laces and jade shocks that match the lower eyelets and rubber heel patch, we’re definitely digging how the Swoosh flipped a Jordan classic for those that love the iconic Air Max series.

No official release info for the Nike Air Max 90 “Essential Grape” as of now, but check out a few images below while we wait for updates:

A post shared by PRETTY FLACKO (@asaprocky) on

Arriving as the first footwear offering from Rocky’s AWGE imprint, the SRLo silhouette borrows heavily from skate culture, especially with the thick sole and even thicker tongue. Available colorways include an all-black version and a “Black/White” iteration that includes a grey sole and blue accents on the lateral portion of the midsole. To add even more hype, the shoe was announced on the TESTING MC’s Instagram with an unreleased song to assist. No word yet on where the song will drop or if it will get an official release at all, but any new sounds from the Mob are always welcomed around these parts. When it comes down to it, Harlem’s latest Hip-Hop Renaissance Man definitely knows how to get and keep everyone’s attention, and this drop is sure to have all eyes on AWGE.

The A$AP Rocky x Under Armour SRLo has been sold out in both colorways since they dropped this morning at 10 AM EST through UnderArmour.com and the super-cool AWGE.com. Still, take a look below and we’ll update you guys on a restock or in-store drop as well:

The adidas x Dragon Ball Z collaboration is still going strong, with the latest release in the well-received collection being a fresh Ultra Tech inspired by the Saiyan prince himself, Vegeta.

The colorway stays true to the animated soldier’s characteristics, from the blue & gold upper designed after Vegeta’s body armor to the black accents on the heel and inner lining that represent his pre-Super Saiyan hair. Finished off with a midsole and Three Stripes on the side panel in white — even his boots and gloves are shown some love! — the shoe embodies all the qualities of the show’s second main character behind Goku. Heck, they even incorporate his viral “Over 9000!” catchphrase from the 1997 episode “The Return of Goku” on the heel. Now that’s dedication!

Expect the Dragon Ball Z x adidas Ultra Tech “Vegeta” to drop on November 24 for $180 USD. See more pics below:

We’ve been anticipating the Nike Air Force 1 “De Lo Mío” since that early preview we all got back in October, and now the Swoosh is doubling down on the Dominican pride with official details on the shoe’s release.

The look we got previously already revealed the white upper, transulcent outsole and accents inspired by the Dominican flag, but these new images show off more details, including the “Dominicana” and “República” embossed imprints on the right and left heels, respectively. The culture is further packed into the design with lace locks that look like domino gaming pieces, which directly reflect the “Dominican Dominoes” games that go down frequently in the Uptown, Hispanic-centered neighborhood of Dyckman — ironically the same place where the launch event for these went down last month as well. If you represent our Source Latino fam to the fullest, definitely don’t sleep on copping these!

The Nike Air Force 1 “De Lo Mío” is officially set to release on November 17, and will cost you $165 USD — 8232.67 DOP for those that this colorway represents! Expect them to arrive at select NSW retailers and via Nike SNKRS, but check out a few more pics below:

As we saw with Saweetie, Jay IDK and Bodega Bamz previously, Reebok is still going hard by featuring Hip-Hop trailblazers in the ongoing “Alter the Icons” campaign, this time tapping ATL’s burgeoning rap star MadeinTYO to help launch a new 10-piece footwear drop.

Aside from the cool set of kicks, MadeinTYO also gives us a walk in his own shoes towards success. In the campaign video above, the artist born as Malcolm Jamaal Davis speaks on how he achieved success by doing things his way, from dropping out of school, heading out to Japan to follow his dreams and even having a son during a time in his career when most people wouldn’t consider becoming a parent, especially in their mid-20s. However, the “Uber Everywhere” hitmaker proves that sometimes the road less travel can lead to astronomical results — starring in Reebok ads doesn’t sound too bad to us.

The shoes at hand include remastered versions of the Classic Leather and Workout Plus, each featuring warped branding, remodeled placement of both silhouettes respective OG designs and special add-ons that include ribbed nylon and suede construction, boot laces, a rippled outsole and a super wide variety of colorway options.

Watch MadeinTYO’s campaign video for the Reebok “Alter the Icons” collection above, and pick up the new Classic Leather Rippled Altered colorways for $85 USD and the Workout Plus Ripple Altered, priced at $90 USD, when they drop in mens, womens and kids sizes this Wednesday (November 15) in-store and online. Check out the throwback Eastbay-style lookbook below, which also features cameos from fellow rapping Reebok Ambassadors Saweetie and Lil Baby:

Nike is gearing up for its next big-name collaboration, working with Fear of God’s own Jerry Lorenzo for the designer’s first official silhouette in the Swoosh’s legendary sneaker roster.

After prepping us for his Nike-affiliated relationship with the Converse collab back in August, Lorenzo officially unveils the Nike Air Fear of God 1. The silhouette pays homage to the ones that came before it, utilizing a visible Nike Air window similar to the Air Max 180 and a TPU cage inspired by the Huarache Light, but also has its own flare to make the overall design feel forward-thinking and original. The double stack Zoom heel is the biggest example of that, followed by a abstract lacing system and performance-ready materials on the upper that really makes this one interesting-looking shoe. Add to the fact that head designer Leo Chang, senior footwear design director at Nike Basketball, actually used Lorenzo’s foot as a sneaker last (i.e. those molds that give a shoe its shape), you really get a sneaker that feels like a hands-on collab and not just something with FoG branding slapped on it. Good work, J!

The Nike Air Fear of God 1 is set to release on December 15, but head to Nike for a closer look into the shoe’s creation. Also, peep the images below for a better look at the silhouette and accompanying apparel:

Anyone that’s been buying Nikes for, well, forever knows that one of the best parts about copping Swoosh kicks is that bright orange shoe box — “Team Orange” if we’re being technical. To switch things up a little, Nike is taking the vibrant hue of the packaging and throwing it right on a new pair of Air Force 1 ‘07 LV8s. The result? Pure fire in more ways than one!

The fan-favorite silhouette has a few interesting new specs, including an extra mini Swoosh on the front lateral portion of the side panel and another on the medial heel. Also switching up the original design is an inside-out label underneath the main Swoosh, a jeweled “registered trademark symbol” on the lateral heel, and a black pull tab on the heel. Other than that, everything about the OG AF1s is in place, and the monotone colorway that covers the leather/textile upper gives you so many options to freak these in a multitude of ways. If you’re one that goes for the classics but looking to flip things just a smidge for the new season, cop these for sure.

Get the Nike Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 Utility “Team Orange” right now either at select retailers or online.

If we had to name two of the most trustworthy heritage lifestyle brands around, Timberland and Champion would definitely top that list. That’s why the new collaboration between the two is both welcomed and a bit surprising since it hasn’t happened sooner.

The co-branded collection is split between a “Luxe Pack,” which features the main portion of apparel, and a “Sport Pack” that includes the standout Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boots that also come with a set of matching tonal tees and hoodies. The former set includes short-sleeve tees, long-sleeve shirts, joggers, and fleece hoodies for an extra snug addition. From black and “Oxford Grey” hues to beige and blue, we’re really impressed by the outcome of this collab and can’t wait for it to drop in full as we all start getting our winter wardrobes together.

Expect the Timberland x Champion “Luxe Pack” for a release starting tomorrow (November 10), meanwhile the “Sport Pack” will drop on November 30, with the “Oxford Grey” set arriving a few days sooner as an online exclusive on November 26. Earlier this year, Drake dropped a collaboration with Clarks that gave us OVO-branded versions of the brand’s signature Wallabee Boot. However, many of you weren’t too keen on the idea that Drizzy was getting a collab before Wu-Tang Clan — the true innovators of the Wallabee steez in Hip-Hop culture.

Take a look below to refresh your memory on the backlash:

Well, it looks like Clarks wasn’t leaving the Wu out after all, as the footwear retailer is debuting a new collaborative Wallabee in celebration of the rap collective’s iconic debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), which celebrates its 25th anniversary today.

Following the Footaction merch currently at retail for the “Wu 25th” celebration, Wu Wear joint with Clarks for a collab that we’ve been waiting for since that famous “blue and cream” intro at the beginning of “Glaciers of Ice.” While neither of those colorways are used in this set, the three included are pretty dope, including a classic black, “Maple” version and a standout yellow iteration that automatically brings to mind the signature “W” logo. The shoes incorporate a suede build and water resistant Scotchgard from British tannery Charles F Stead, and proper Wu branding throughout, including a “November 9 1993” stamp in gold to signify the anniversary.

Look for the Wu Wear x Clarks Wallabee Boots to drop on November 23 at select retailers and online. See each one in detail below, and enjoy Wu Day!

Nike never fails when it comes to the ACG line, and this holiday season we’re being treated to a vibrant set of apparel to go along with the handful of quality footwear options as well.

The latest batch of Nike ACG apparel puts an emphasis on color and comfort, with a set that includes anoraks, a nylon duffle with packable capabilities, fleece quarter zip hoodies with matching joggers, a wool blend beanie for proper headwear, and a long-sleeve shirt decked out with a comical animated yeti graphic. For the footwear, we see a bunch of winter-ready silhouettes, including the Air Revaderchi, Dog Mountain, Okwahn II, Ruckel Ridge and the new Angel’s Rest, which aren’t as vibrant as the clothing options but still incorporates hints of color amongst the brown, being and black colorways seen throughout. Overall, we’re quite impressed.

Jordan Brand always comes through with a winter drop around this time of year, usually in the form of a super-hyped Air Jordan 11 for the holiday season. While that may still happen sometime closer to Christmas, the equally fresh Air Jordan 12 is having a little time to shine as well with a whole new build constructed to get you through any and all conditions the cold front may bring.

The Triple Black” colorway seen here is just that; an all-black pair of 12s that focuses more on the materials to switch things up throughout the multi-paneled silhouette. The main portion of the upper utilizes a winterized nylon, the mudguard goes for heavy duty nubuck and the insole is finished off with a soft terry cloth that just sounds like something you’d want to slip your feet into as it gets more brick out here in these streets. Add to the fact that black is everyone’s favorite color and you have the shoe of the season. Best part? They’re available in adult and kid sizes — in other words, warm feets for the whole fam!

The Air Jordan 12 “Triple Black” with winterized construction will arrive in December, but take a look below at an early preview and we’ll keep you updated as more info arrives around the release:

Reebok just gave sneakerheads a real treat today, introducing both the new Sole Fury silhouette and a new campaign to promote the sneaker with help from five trailblazing superstars from the worlds of Hip-Hop, Hollywood and even sports.

The new #SplitFrom activation from Reebok features ATL-bred rappers Lil Baby and Future, world-renowned boxer and martial artist Conor McGregor, Game of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel and Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks as they show us how the Sole Fury can take you from the stage to the street while still providing ultimate performance-ready qualities. The “dad shoe” is probably the biggest trend in the sneaker world right now, even attracting high fashion brands like Calvin Klein and Fendi (by way of FILA). However, the style has actually been around longer than most might believe, going as far back as 1998 with the classic ASICS GEL-Kayano 5 which is getting a much-needed resurgence next week.

Getting its name from the silhouette’s designer Toshikazu Kayano, the shoe is a tried-and-true runner that’s build for that specifically. The GEL-Kayano 5 is a fan-favorite mainly for its lightweight construction, but the OG colorway also makes it a standout for the way the hues are utilized across the intricately-designed mesh upper. The blue & yellow play off eachother quite well on the branding, tongue, heel and air bubble units on the sole, and the minor grey accents compliment the look even further. Thankfully these are back and looking better than ever, and it won’t be long before we see them on shelves as well.

Tthe ASICS GEL-Kayano 5 in all its OG glory arrives next week Saturday (November 17) at select retailers globally, including online at Caliroots. See the shoe from a few more angles below:

Next summer we’ll all be celebrating 30 years since the classic Spike Lee joint Do The Right Thing dropped in theaters, causing an uproar in the film industry and calling to action a much-need talk on race relations. While we’re sure the anniversary will transpire across many platforms, Jordan Brand is making sure we have some sneaker swag in the mix with two Air Jordan 4 colorways themed around the fictional Sal’s Pizzeria.

As you can see from the reissued DVD cover seen above, the new AJ4 hues are inspired by the Sal’s pizza boxes that Mookie (Spike Lee) carried around as a delivery man for the local BedStuy eatery. Arriving here in “White/Gorge Green-Varsity Red” and “Black/Gorge Green-Varsity Red” options, the hues might be completely different than what you’d expect from a Do The Right Thing collab — many thought it was a Gucci collab when the images first leaked — but these still fit into the 40 Acres and a Mule universe that Lee envisioned. Above everything, we’re just glad Team JB got the silhouette right; everyone remembers the infamous scene where Buggin’ Out (played to perfection by Giancarlo Esposito) gets his 4s ran over!

The Air Jordan 4 ‘Do The Right Thing’ in black and white will retail for $190 USD and is expected to drop in April 2019. We’ll definitely keep you updated on this 30th anniversary release once more info and images are released:

The last time we saw Converse and Carhartt WIP collaborate, we got a dope collection of One Star options resulting in a fresh workwear-inspired set of footwear. Now, we’ve got another round from the two lifestyle brands that takes on a new silhouette and an even wider color palette.

The popular Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 is the focus this time around, featuring one stark colorway and another more vibrant option. The latter is inspired by Carhartt WIP’s Milner Shirt Jacket — the colorway even is named “Milner” — and features a “Mulberry,” “Loden” and “Dark Navy” combo in a soft suede/shaggy wool construction on the upper. The more subdued variation is the “Chalk” colorway, which utilizes a white canvas upper with black stitching and optional laces. Both colorways have a low top build, which might seem a little odd for a fall shoe, but the wool balances things out a bit. Also, low tops allow you to show off those winter socks better!

The Carhartt WIP x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 collaboration will drop through Carhartt WIP stores and the label’s online shop beginning this Thursday (November 8). Take a look at both options below:

Kyrie Irving used some of the last iterations for his Kyrie 4 sneaker to show off a more personal side — the standout design being his love for cereal. Now, he’s finally ready to unveil the new model in his ongoing signature series as a Nike Athlete, giving us a full breakdown of the Kyrie 5 silhouette from the inner stitchings all the way to its colorful sole.

The sneaker shows Irving linking with Nike Footwear Designer Ben Nethongkome once again, and this one packs tons of performance specs for the real ballers out there. Highlights from the shoe’s structure include a new articulated fore-foot Zoom cushioning, which gives the wearer full support while going extra hard in the paint, Flywire arranged to lock the foot into the Air Zoom Turbo unit and a new traction pattern that even takes design cues from Kyrie’s arm tattoo.

Here’s how Kyrie Irving himself breaks down his latest signature shoe:

“I’ve become more involved with what’s going on in the outside world. Before, I was just trying to get a shoe out. I was just trying to have something that looks hot, looks good. Now I’m trying to have something that is driven from who I am.”

— Kyrie Irving, via Nike

Expect the Nike Kyrie 5 to drop officially in its initial “Black Magic” colorway on November 22, with China seeing the release on December 6. Get an in-depth look at the silhouette below, including sketches from the creative process:

Back in 2012, Germany-based retailer Afew decided to get a little fishy with ASICS on a GEL-Lyte 3 collab inspired by the nishikigoi fish — most people know it simply as koi. While the first iteration was inspired by Kōhaku (red & white), the latest iteration takes inspo from Bekko koi with help from Japan’s own BEAMS.

The upper utilizes a similar suede build that we’ve seen on ASICS from the past, with the standout orange making its way onto the toe, heel, inner mesh lining and one of two specially-designed insoles. The color switch-up plays out down the middle — medial and lateral sides included — with light gray paneling, ASICS stripes in darker hues, bamboo-inspired eyelets and a crisp white for the laces and perforated side panels. As the collab centers around the friendship between each brand involved, the Japanese word for “friendship” is incorporated on the back for added style measures. The shoes will come in special “bento box” packaging, which will include two incense sticks, a history booklet and an orange koi bandana if you really want to get gilly — err, we mean gully!

Expect the Afew x BEAMS x ASICS GEL-Lyte 3 “Orange Koi” to drop on November 10 in-store and online for $210 USD. Get a better look with the official imagery below:
