Our Man Of The Year/Rookie Of The Year annual issue is on newsstands everywhere now. In an exclusive interview with our former Editor-In-Chief Kim Osorio, Rick Ross wanted to set the record straight about his paper. Below is an outtake for the interview.

Where does Forbes get these numbers from anyway? Rick Ross is the latest rapper to challenge the numbers released by the business publication. “Y’all know how I rock and the boss getting way more money than that,” Ross tells thesource.com in an exclusive interview. Back in August, Forbes placed Rick Ross at #17 on their list of Hip-Hop’s Top Earners, behind Nicki Minaj, Swizz Beatz and Ludacris, among others. Forbes claimed that Ross raked in only 6 million dollars, which may be a lot to the average UPS employee, but could be considered a low blow for someone who prides himself on being a “boss.” Ross says that Forbes’ estimated 6 million was “way off.” – Kim Osorio
