In the eyes of many, Queens representative and Unsigned Hype alum Action Bronson and former reality TV personality turned rapper RiFF RaFF may be 180 degrees aprart from each other on the lyrical spectrum. Bronson is known for skillfully painting pictures with his potent flow while RiFF RaFF is more recognizable for his ignant and obnoxious demanor on and off the mic. While the pairing comes as much of a surprise and may have hip-hop heads experiencing severe hesitation on that play button, the From G’s To Gents star actually exhibits improvement by brining out his quick flow over this murky Harry Fraud production. Action, of course, delivers his usual amount of dope narratives with a dual dose of greenery and a Zack Morris cell phone in hand. In the end, the collab actually results in a pure effort that doesn’t feel forced and makes for a good listen. “Bird On A Wire” can be enjoyed by an abundance of rap fans; from G’s to chefs.
