It’s clear that Twentieth Century Fox wasn’t kidding around when it bought the rights to Seth Grahame-Smith’s Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter (official site). Here at The Source we were chosen as a part of a group of a select few to see the trailer first as well as some exclusive footage and trust the movie is an huge mash-up of history, fable and fantasy that does not disappoint. Lincoln is born into an era of bloodsuckers (the non twilight kind), during a time of mass immigration, as the vampires are being flushed out of Europe. Abe is out for revenge as both his grandfather and his mother were victim of vampires. When he’s elected president, he leads the charge into the Civil War as a means of averting a systematic takeover of America by power-hungry vampire hordes. This for sure will be on everyone’s summer blockbuster list.
