Latin Pop superstar Shakira has officially inked a deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation imprint under their management umbrella. The Colombian singer who’s racked up 60 million albums solds, 12 Latin Billboard Awards, eight Latin Grammys and two Grammys over her illustrious career joins Rihanna, Wale and Melanie Fiona, Santigold, No I.D. Jahlil Beats, and S1 on the list of artists/producers employing Hov’s company for management services. Mr. Carter sure knows what he’s doing by alligning his brand with a worlwide superstar and I’m willing to bet the phrase “Hola Hovito” will come back in style if only in the Roc Nation offices.
