Another American Idol type of show won’t be welcomed by many, however, this one is headed by Hip Hop royalty .
Queen Latifah will be the executive producer of the CW’s music competition show, “The Star Next Door”. The network claims that this show is very different from all of the other amateur entertainment shows because TSND will have celebrity mentors that “travel to where the talent is, immersing themselves in the lives and towns of these local performers and preparing them for the chance to represent their home city on stage, live, in front of America.”
